Optic-electronic materials, serving as the foundation and precursor of the entire opto-electronics industry, represent a critical field arising from the interdisciplinary integration and deep convergence of materials science with optics, semiconductors, chemistry, and electronics. With technological advancements and the expansion of application domains, novel optoelectronic materials have demonstrated broad application prospects in various fields such as next-generation displays, advanced energy, future electronics, biomedicine, and environmental protection.
To facilitate the development of optoelectronic materials towards device integration, functionalization, and industrialization, the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering (CSOE) will host the "2026International Conference on Advanced Optoelectronic Materials, Technology and Application (OMTA 2026)" in Fuzhou from October30 to November 1, 2026. The conference will feature distinguished experts from domestic and international universities, research institutes, key laboratories, and leading enterprises. It will organize multi-faceted, strategic thematic symposia, industry chain leader roundtable meetings, the "Light Chasing Forum" Young Scientist Session with awards, and scientific and technological achievement exhibitions. The event aims to establish a platform integrating industry, academia, research, and application within the optoelectronics field, gathering visionary individuals and industry elites worldwide to jointly discuss forward-looking ideas, innovative achievements, and development strategies in the new global context.

Abstract Submission Deadline: October 10, 2026
Submission Guidelines:
1.Papers must be scientific, innovative, practical, and readable, with clear viewpoints, reliable data, clear graphics/images, concise and coherent language, and must not have been previously published in any journal or conference proceedings.
3.Papers must undergo confidentiality review by the author's affiliated institution, and a confidentiality review certificate must be provided.
4.Papers should include title, author name(s), affiliation(s), abstract, keywords, main text, and references.
5.The English conference manuscript will be officially published by SPIE and included in EI Core. Authors are requested to first log in to the conference website via email to submit an English version of the manuscript abstract, with a requirement of 300-500 words. After review by the conference academic committee, an acceptance notice will be sent to the author via email. Once the author receives the acceptance notice, they can then submit the full English version of the manuscript to the SPIE website. The organizing committee can assist in recommending manuscripts that have been evaluated as excellent to designated SCI journals, EI journals, or core journals for publication. Please note that authors who have publication requirements must indicate in the email subject or body that 'I want to publish this paper'.

Invoices for the conference registration fee will be processed centrally two weeks before the conference and one week after the conference.

A series of industrial exchange sessions will be held concurrently with the conference, focusing on key industrial chains of optoelectronic materials. Under the industrial‑chain‑chief mechanism, the meeting aims to coordinate multi‑party resources, tackle critical technical bottlenecks and enhance industrial competitiveness, helping enterprises secure an advantageous position in supply chains. It also serves as a high‑level exchange platform to align policy initiatives with market demands and stimulate innovation across the industry.
(2) Luminescence Pursuit Program
To foster young‑talent development and fuel the research enthusiasm of early‑career scholars, the conference will host special sessions for rising academic stars as well as master’s and PhD students. This initiative supports the growth of young researchers at all career stages.
(3) Exhibition Showcase
A specialized exhibition on optoelectronic materials will run alongside the conference. It showcases cutting‑edge technologies, products and solutions in the field, enabling participants to keep abreast of the latest industrial advances. Exhibiting enterprises can demonstrate innovative products and technical solutions to attract potential clients, partners and investors, advancing deep‑docking between technologies and market demands.
(4) Group Standard Project Call for Proposals
To strengthen the coordination among standard‑setting, innovation and industrial chains and build bridges for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering launches a call for group‑standard projects targeting universities, research institutes and enterprises engaged in optoelectronic materials and devices. Project categories include basic standards, product specifications, measurement‑method standards and management standards. Relevant institutions are welcome to submit applications.
